TIME FOR SOME OL SCHOOL

We are getting back into the rest of tracking for William Lebihan's new album in about a weeks time. The sound is melodic ol school grooves - a cool funk/soul mix. Drums and bass were finalised in late January and we are looking forward to getting back into the remainder of the record when we get back into town. As always, there will be some samples available on the site when we are wrapped.

BACK IN THE USA

We are off to the USA for 4 weeks to produce an album for Missouri band, 'The Anthem'. We will be tracking in a few locations and getting down to business as soon as the jet lag subsides. The band are flying us over to help them enhance and explore their sound and we are excited about the potential surrounding the entire project.

MID FI CHAMPIONS

We are well into the debut album from Brisbane band 'Transport'. The boys have been working really hard over the last year and have refined their sound, pulling together their strongest collection of songs to date. We expect big things for these lads throughout 2007. 

EXPANDING THE SOUND

We have finished tracking the new single for Australian singer/songwriter Stu Larsen. Stu has been playing around the local scene for a while now and is gearing up for an album with us next year. His previous EP was a fairly stripped back affair. This new single is an expanded version of Stu's music. We think it's a great step forward for this talented artist. 

KEEPING THE MUSIC ALIVE

We have commenced tracking at Studios 301 in Byron Bay for the forthcoming Tanya Gordon EP. The drums are down and they are sounding great. Dale has played up a storm. Besides supporting a worthy cause with proceeds from sales, the songs are sure to be a fixture on radio over the next year. One of the songs has been co-written with Simon Jockel from Leo Nine. We will have some samples on the site when it is all wrapped up. 

CHANNELLING THE SPIRITS OF DYLAN & CO

We have nearly completed pre production on all the tracks for Reuben Wards debut EP. We will do out best to channel the spirits of Dylan, Young, Crosby, Cash and Co. in order to capture this emerging Brisbane songwriter and performer. This will be an honest, stripped back affair - one for the drive to the coast, or the glass of red at home. The EP is due for completion by the end of september... stay tuned.
