I REMEMBER WHEN I MET A HERO

We have been working for the last month as part of a creative team on the new short film from director Simon Temple. 'Ubermenche' is based on a famous series of graphic novels and has been brought to life on screen by an amazing team including Daniel Graetz of Graetzmedia, Hans Van Vliet and his team from IV Motion and of course, some fantastic actors and tech support. We have worked on the music composition and sound design and are really pleased with the results. QPIX are pushing it to a wide range of international film festivals over the coming months so it will exciting to see the developments.

BRISRAT PACK

These raggamuffin jazz men got together around an idea by founder and frontman, Timothy Hills. Tim has been a prominent member in the Brisbane scene for around 20 years and this latest outlet is receiving high praise. We are mixing a bunch of tracks for their coming LP. If you get the chance to see these guys live, make sure you do it - it is a raucous, fun affair. 

NEW EP

We have spent the last month or so with Australian rockers 'Chamberland' developing and producing their forthcoming EP. They are a powerhouse act live and we are currently working to capture that on record for everyone to enjoy. The songs have come up really well and we have no doubt this will be an important step in their development as a band. They have an impressive work ethic and a busy live schedule which should see them playing shows around the country not too long after the EP is completed. go check them out...

INTERNATIONAL MAN

Nik Conomos is one of the shining new lights in the Australian dance scene. He has spent the last few years refining his sound and songwriting and is ready to make his mark. With some brilliantly crafted songs and amazing vocal performances, we believe it is only a matter of time before he achieves just that. We have been brought on board to mix the singles for his forthcoming album and the results so far have been stellar. One to watch... 

FROM THE STICKS TO THE SMOKE

Edwina Lumsden drove nearly a couple of thousands kilometers to spend some time with us producing a couple of tracks. She was a breath of fresh air, a lot of fun and has talent to boot. She has been playing the local scene for a while but looks like she will start getting a name for herself beyond her home borders.

B Creative are a brilliant emerging film company based in Brisbane. We have been discussing working together on their latest feature film 'Will', with all music composition and recording to be carried out by Caleb James. After expecting a more well trodden path in terms of the script, we were chuffed to find a story that is refreshingly uplifting and a multidimensional story of hope that feels human and original. As the music composer for the film, Caleb is compelled and inspired to create an aural composition that compliments an intimate portrayal upon a grand canvas.
