LEVON

We have nearly completed the second album from stellar Australian band 'Levon'. With references including The Band, The Black Crowes, Ryan Adams & Jack White we have had a ball capturing some phat, warm 70's tones to tape and the project has been a lot of fun for everyone involved. Release expected next year.

NINTH OF MAY

We have nearly completed mixing two singles for brilliant  Australian band 'Ninth Of May'. The band has big sounds, driving songs and a pumping live show so get out and support them if they hit a venue in your area. Singles are from a forthcoming release which should be available early in the new year.

ANTHONY COX

We have hit the studio with Anthony Cox to record some cracker new singles. Recording has gone well (hobo choir included) and mixing is about to commence.Songs should be released early next year so keep your ears alert!

SKIPPING GIRL VINEGAR

The SGV kids have released their sophomore album to much fanfare and critical praise. Scoring 4 star reviews almost across the board for their wonderful record which we co-produced and engineered. The critical success has just been topped off by a 4 star review in Rolling Stone. Congrats to the band - onward and upward!

BLONDES HIT THE USA

'Are You Entertained?', one of the singles we produced for stellar band Blonde On Blonde has been picked up by Indie 103.1 Los Angeles and starts getting played on American radio on July 30h. The station is syndicated across the country which means national exposure for our local lads (and lady). Congrats to the Blondes! 

It's been a busy time lately - sorry for the lack of updates... Some recent good news is we have been nominated for 'Best Recording' again in the MVMU competition for Joel Myles latest single 'Future Hearts'. We were lucky enough to win this award last year and our fingers are crossed for 2011! Joel has been nominated for Best Video and SIX other awards. Good luck Joel!!! Turner, who we produced has also been nominated for FIVE awards. Congrats Richard! 

STU ON THE CHARTS

Stu Larsen's latest EP 'Ryeford' was officially released this week and it is already drumming up a lot of interest. It has hit #2 on the iTunes Singer/Songwriter charts just ahead of Geoffery Gurrumul Yunupingu. It is #47 in the top 100 overall charts in AUS and NZ(and still climbing) and looks like it won't slow for a while. Congrats Stu!

Stu Larsen 2011

We have just completed the new EP for terrific Australian songster Stu Larsen. Mastering was done by Matthew Gray in Brisbane. The EP was recorded mostly live with minimal mics and gear in a sloping old farm house in Ryeford (west of toowoomba). We are all pleased as punch with the result and we feel it has captured a wonderful week in the lives of those involved... samples soon!
